Witch Burning festival in Kampa on 4/30/13. Every year around this time towns across Prague burn a straw witch.

New Overalls and Farm Friends!

I bought a new pair of red overalls the other day. Here are some pictures of the spontaneous photo shoot that took place throughout the day which highlight my new purchase. The animal pictures are from Easter when we visited farmer friends. The final picture is a poster of my host dad advertising a new show (Golden Sixties) he is performing in at the National Theatre in Brno -- great show!

Czech Republic: Photo Highlight of 1st Month

I have officially been in the Czech Republic for 1 month! Here are a few pictures that capture what my first month has been like. Photos include graffiti, Prague, Dresden/hike to the lost city, Čenda- my host dog, huge Mucha painting, making beekeeping hive frames, Nové Město pod Smrkem (small town in N. CR), Český Krumlov, and eating pork knee!
